DIFC in Dubai registered 430 new companies and 1220 new jobs in 2018

437 new companies registered in The DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) which is the record highest since its inception in 2004. Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait, Berkshire Hathaway Speciality Insurance, and State Street Global Advisors are amongst the firms that opened offices in DIFC last year. A total of 2,137 companies registered themselves in 2017, of which 625 were financial firms.

The DIFC also created around 1,226 new jobs by year end 2018.
