Indians Going for work to UAE and 17 other countries have to register themselves

According to Ministry of External Affairs, “From 1 January 2019, Indians traveling to 18 Emigration Check Requirement (ECR) on a job visa will be offloaded if they fail to register with the Indian Government in prior. No Indian emigrant holding Non-ECR passport would be able to go and work in these 18 countries without prior registration in eMigrate, as a measure of extending protection and ensuring their welfare overseas.”
